PROMOTION
Every year the Chamber partners with Members who are interested in cross-promoting events with our organization. The Cook County Historical Society, Cook County Council for the Arts, Cook County Workforce Develpment Center, the Cook County Exchange Club, the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Cook County, to name a few, are examples organizations with whom we co-sponsor events each year. ANNUAL APPRECIATION DINNER
The Adel-Cook Chamber hosts an Annual Appreciation Dinner to say "THANK YOU" to all our Members and to recognize outstanding businesses within the community. Special appreciation is also given to Chamber voluteers and community leaders at the Annual Dinner.
MYSTERY SHOPPER PROGRAM
This program will help Members pinpoint their organization’s STRENGTHS and WEAKNESSES. Only you and a representative from the SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER will know the results of this evaluation. This is a free service offered through the Chamber that would otherwise cost as much as $75.00/hour.

Notary services are available FREE to all Chamber Members. Call or come by when you need the service of one of our Notaries.
PUBLICITY
Chamber Members receive thousands of dollars in publicity annually through the Chamber's Newcomer WELCOME PACKETS distributed to new residents. Additional publicity is generated by allowing Members to display their promotional materials in the Chamber lobby and by referring Members to the dozens of inquiries received daily.
QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER
All Chamber Members receive the INFORMER, a quarterly newsletter, which gives updates on events, awards, and new members.
RIBBON CUTTING AND GROUND BREAKING CEREMONIES
The Adel-Cook Chamber plans and organizes ribbon cutting and ground breaking ceremonies for NEW businesses, NEW locations, or NEW ownership for any Chamber Member. Invitations are sent to the media, local dignitaries, Chamber Ambassadors and the Board of Directors. A press release with photo is prepared for the Adel News Tribune.

COMMITTEES
Based on our Annual Plan of Work, Members are encouraged to VOLUNTEER to work on one or more Committees within the Chamber. The Committees are organized into five divisions: Community Development, Educational Development, Membership Development, Resource Development, and Small Business Development. Committee Members are provided with an excellent opportunity to work shoulder to shoulder with other community leaders who often become prospective new clients or business associates.
